Mahinog, Camiguin – THE Municipal Council (Sangguniang Bayan) of Mahinog recently passed a resolution expressing its “strong, wholehearted and unequivocal” support to Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro for his bid to be the administration party’s standard bearer in the coming presidential election.
“We fully believe that Secretary Teodoro possesses the leadership, integrity, credibility, competence and capability to be the country’s next president,” the councilors said in their resolution, copy of which was transmitted to Secretary Teodoro through Camiguin Governor Jurdin Jesus M. Romualdo.
Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, a bar topnotcher and former Tarlac congressman, declared his intention to run for president under the administration party come May 2010.
“A person with realistic vision, firm principles and untainted track record like Gilbert Teodoro is needed by our country,” the resolution further stated. (Homer R. Jajalla – Mahinog Information Office)
