Mahinog, Camiguin, Oct. 30, 2009 – Local Lakas-CMD-Kampi leaders led by Congressman Pedro P. Romualdo and Governor Jurdin Jesus M. Romualdo met yesterday to choose their official administration bets in the municipality of Mahinog for the coming May 2010 polls.
Mayor Alex R. Jajalla was chosen as the administration party’s mayoral candidate with Vice Mayor Rogerio C. Acle as his vice mayoral running mate.
The administration party has named incumbent administration councilors Jonard B. Labadan, Kaiser A. Abao, and Liberato E. Babanto as among the party’s bets for the position of municipal councilors.
The ruling party also picked independent councilors Rey Lawrence K. Tan, Valentin F. Babanto and Manolo V. Tabamo who took their oath of office as new members of Lakas-CMD-Kampi during the same meeting, as part of the slate.
Newcomer Erlindo G. Bequilla and former councilor Merlito G. Abao were chosen to replace the 2 vacant slots to be vacated by councilors Nerio Y. Galochino whose term will expire on 2010 and second-termer Leoncio P. Somobay who declared he will not run in the coming polls. (Homer R. Jajalla - Mahinog Information Office)
